The Importance of Keeping God Almighty at the Forefront of Our Lives

**Heading: The Importance of Keeping God Almighty at the Forefront of Our Lives**

**Scripture:**
Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

**5 Short Points:**
1. Without God at the center of our lives, we may struggle to find true and lasting help in a world filled with temporary solutions.
2. Acknowledging God as our Creator and source of all goodness opens the door to His divine guidance and support in every aspect of our lives.
3. When we prioritize our relationship with God, we invite His wisdom and strength to lead us through challenges and uncertainties.
4. Choosing to relegate God to the background can leave us feeling empty and disconnected from the true source of hope and help.
5. By keeping God Almighty at the forefront of our hearts and minds, we align ourselves with His perfect will and experience the abundant blessings that flow from His loving presence.

**Short Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, help us to always keep You at the forefront of our lives, recognizing Your infinite wisdom and love as the true source of all goodness and help. Guide us in aligning our will with Yours, that we may walk in Your light and experience the fullness of Your blessings. In Jesus' name, Amen.

My Story

In a bustling city where success was measured by wealth and power, a young businessman named David stood out. His sharp mind and charismatic personality had propelled him to the top of his industry, and he was admired by many for his achievements. However, despite his outward success, David felt a void deep within him, a sense of emptiness that no amount of money or accolades could fill.

One day, as he grappled with this inner turmoil, a wise old man crossed his path. Sensing David's unrest, the old man shared with him the truth of the Creator, God Almighty, and the importance of acknowledging Him in every aspect of life. David listened intently, his heart stirred by the old man's words.

As David began to seek the Creator in earnest, a transformation took place within him. He realized that true success was not measured by worldly standards alone, but by the depth of one's relationship with God. As he started to prioritize his faith and seek the Creator's guidance in all his endeavors, David found a sense of peace and fulfillment that had eluded him for so long.

With God at the forefront of his life, David's business prospered in ways he had never imagined. His relationships flourished, and he became known not only for his professional acumen but also for his compassion and integrity. The world took notice of the remarkable change in David, and many sought his counsel and help, drawn to the light of the Creator shining brightly within him.

In choosing to elevate the Creator, God Almighty, from the background to the forefront of his life, David had discovered the key to true fulfillment and success. And as he continued to walk in faith and obedience, his story became a testament to the transformative power of acknowledging and honoring the Creator in all things.

Blessed day

The Law of the Open Hand

The Law of the Open Hand: From Scarcity to Divine Supply in a Clenched-Fist World By Harold Mawela From my study in Akasia, Pretoria, I look out at a nation holding its breath. We live in the perpetual tension between promise and provision, between what is pledged from podiums and what is present in our pantries. The headlines scream of crises competing for our fragmented attention, while our hearts whisper the ancient, agonizing question: “Will there be enough?” In this climate, a primal instinct takes hold: the clench. We clench our fists around our finances, our futures, our fragile sense of security. Yet, I come to you today with a counter-intuitive, kingdom truth, a law as immutable as gravity but activated by faith: The Law of the Open Hand. The Parable of the Tightened Fist: A Story from Soshanguve Let me tell you a story. Not from a dusty theological text, but from the sun-baked streets of Soshanguve. I visited a community kitchen run by a widow, Gogo Mthembu. Her pension was a...

The Rooster’s Restoration

The Rooster’s Restoration: When Failure Becomes Your Foundation By Harold Mawela Akasia, Pretoria Scripture: “The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: ‘Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times.’ And he went outside and wept bitterly.” (Luke 22:61-62) I woke up this past Tuesday to the sound of a rooster crowing somewhere in the dusty streets of Akasia. My neighbour, old Mr. Dlamini, keeps a few chickens in his backyard—much to the annoyance of the municipality, but that is a story for another day. That crow pierced the morning silence like a prophet’s whisper. And immediately, my mind went to Simon Peter. Now, let me be honest with you. For years, I preached Peter’s denial as a cautionary tale—a warning against pride, a lesson in failure. I stood behind pulpits in Mamelodi, in Soshanguve, in the city centre, and I would point my finger and say, “Don’t be like Peter! He boasted when he should have pray...

The Investigator's Faith

The Investigator’s Faith: Where Reason and Revelation Meet in the African Soul A Personal Encounter with Truth My friends, let me tell you about the day I became a detective of the divine. It was right here in Akasia, Pretoria, where the red soil stains your shoes and the summer heat shimmers like a mirage over the Mabopane Highway. I was sitting in my study, surrounded by books—theological tomes, scientific journals, and the daily newspaper filled with stories of load-shedding and political turmoil. That particular day, the front page carried a story about our local police station struggling with only five operational vehicles to serve 152 square kilometers . Can you imagine? How does one enforce justice without proper tools This got me thinking about our spiritual tools—how we investigate the greatest claims of truth. Are we properly equipped? I recall my uncle, a lifelong skeptic, challenging me: "How can an educated man like you believe a dead man came back to life?" Inst...
